Can you tell me more about the interactive whiteboard resources?

Energised, Cool Wayz, Safe of the Street, CleanEnergy and Young Academy contain a wide variety of interactive activities that are designed to emphasise key educational messages, whilst making learning fun.

Interactive resources include:

• Online films, or film clips, to stimulate class discussion, or be used as an engaging start to a lesson
• Interactive crosswords and word games that help reinforce messages and develop literacy skills
• Lessons and quizzes for students to complete online
• Animations and cartoon characters that can be used to help explain often complex information in a simple and engaging way.

The interactive resources can be used on interactive whiteboards, individual PCs or projected onto standard whiteboards.

For schools with limited internet or computer access, many of the materials and activities are available to download and print out.

Within the classroom, students can work through the interactive resources in groups, pairs or as a whole class. The resources also have the flexibility to be used for homework or independent work.
