Lesson 2: System Operation

Building on your knowledge from Lesson 1, you will be testing the central body electronic systems of a car, including the rain sensors, footwell lights, electric windows and headlights.

You will learn how each of these systems operate by following the same processes as a BMW technician and you will test each one to make sure they are working correctly.

At the end of this lesson you should be able to:

• Use diagnostic equipment to test for the correct operation of key ZKE systems
• Follow detailed manufactures test procedures
• Describe analogue transmission
• Describe the operation of key ZKE systems.
