Student Activities
We should all aim to be healthy and fit. To achieve this, we need to understand how our bodies work, what can help us achieve a healthy lifestyle and what can cause harm to us.
Race drivers, like all people involved in sports, place great importance to their body's well being and treat it with even more care than they treat their car. After all, a car can be replaced if it goes wrong but our bodies need to last a lifetime!
Both race drivers and on-road drivers need to be alert while driving. This section examines what enhances and what reduces alertness, including fitness and exercise, healthy eating, sleeping, effects of alcohol and drugs - all lessons that are important to everyone, whatever the age. There are useful facts and information on areas such as how the digestive system works, so that a complete picture of what can be involved to be lead a healthy way of life is offered.
In this section you will find student activities, worksheets, templates and factsheets concentrating on these issues.
